  • L & M Harris won Champion Commercial Fleece at Bendigo (2nd time). 9.3kg fleece. This is the 3rd time our bloodline has won this award.

  • Sold 28 Merino & Poll Rams to top of $1600 ave $954. All 12 White Suffolk Rams to a top of $900 twice, ave. $712. Top price to Tattersall Bros, top Poll to Bennman Stud. 8 new clients.  Top  two White Suffolk's sold to Stan Artridge.

  • Bendigo Sheep Show - Sold 4 rams to $2500,  $2000 Poll ram to Kerrilyn Stud. 1st, 2nd & 3rd in fleece comp. equal 3rd Most successful Exhibitor.
  • Hay Merino Sheep Show - Champion Medium Ram. 40 studs and 400 sheep exhibited from 3 states.
  • Ovens Valley Wether Trial - 2nd Heaviest Cutting from 35 teams, 5th place  9.97kg average.
  • Balmoral Show - Best Group of 3 Rams, Reserve Champion Strong Poll Ram

  • Royal Melbourne Show - Supreme Champion Merino & Poll Merino, Most Valuable Fleece (5th time).
  • North East Merino Benalla Sale - Sold 7 to a top of $2200 and averaged $1440. Top price was purchased by C & D Cann. Body weights to 106kg.
  • Hamilton Sheepvention - Sold 4 rams to a top of $2500. Two seconds in the show in classes of seven or more.
  • Ballarat Sheep Show - Grand Champion Medium Ram  (Poll B1139), Reserve Champion Medium housed ewe.
  • Bendigo Sheep Show - 2 firsts and a second in the fleece show, a second and two thirds in the sheep open classes, B1139 came third out of 12 Poll rams and the Champion and Reserve where first and second (both from W.A).  Sold 3 rams to $1500.
  • Ovens Valley Wether Trial - 2nd Heaviest Average Woolcut in trial, 10.32kg.

  • Champion Stud & Most Valuable Fleece at Bendigo Ag. show.
  • Purchased 10 Ewes at the One Oak Dispersal. We have also A.I 24 ewes to One Oak 11-304.
  • Royal Melbourne Show, Supreme Champion Merino, Champion Fine Ram, Champion & Reserve Medium Ewe, Reserve Champion Medium Ram & Most Successful Exhibitor. 
  • Hamilton Sheepvention; Grand Champion Medium Ram & Ewe, Champion Strong Ram & Best Group of 1 Ram and 2 Ewes. Sold 5 Rams to five buyers, top of $2000.
  • Ballarat Sheep Show. Grand Champion Medium Ram & Ewe. Reserve Champion Medium March Shorn Ram.
  • Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show. In our first showing in the open section we achieved a fourth in the 6tooth Medium Ram, third in 6tooth Medium Ewe, made the final 7 in the Victorian Pairs, a third and three Highly Commended places in the fleece section. 900 Merino's were on show and 490 fleeces.We also sold all three rams offered to three buyers to a top of $1750.

  • Bendigo Sheep & Wool show 2013, L.Gleeson & Sons have won Champion Commercial Fleece of the show and came within .4 of a point of the Grand Champion Fleece. Gleeson's have been buying Koole Vale rams for over 15 years and were actually our very first client! This follows on from them winning Reserve Champion Commercial Fleece in 2009.
  • Koole Vale have won the Reserve Champion Strong Ewe, Champion Restricted Fine-Medium, Medium & Strong Ewes. Champion & Reserve Champion Restricted Fine-Medium Rams, in our best result ever at Bendigo.
  • Sold 4 rams at Hamilton Sheepvention to $2500 ave. $1600. Won Reserve Champion Strong Ewe.19.4m.
  • Won Reserve Champion All-Purpose Sale ram at the North East Sale. 17.5m 91.5kg. Sold 5 rams to $1900 & ave. $1060.
  • Melbourne Royal 2013 -  Won Most Valuable Fleece (4th time) $90.11
  • At the 2013 Ovens Valley wether trial Koole Vale wethers have come in at 2nd place, these wethers from Alans parents, Lindsay and Marj cut 8.71kg of 19.3 micron averaged $70.65 and had a body weight of 65kg. it was pleasing to see our wethers do well in higher rainfall, the trial was held at Everton North East Victoria.
